    After finishing a mission, which offered an increase of the territory as a reward, I finished the mission and received nothing. Nothing appears in the inventory.

    This means that you can enlarge the playing field, but you have to buy them yourself, option available at the Specials section

    Hello FJM_PT,

    I think, @djstach is totally right ;). I do not know any missions which have a map expansion as reward.

    But sometimes, when you have a level up, there are new items available in the shop. Sometimes, you can buy a new map expansion at the specials section.
