Red light

Hi To everybody out there, when I have a red light it means Im not online, green
light = online.

 

Yes you are right and you should also note that due to bugs in game when you turn light from green to red then it does not show you offline to your buddies unless your buddy refreshes the game and it may or may not happen but usually does

 

Most people don't seem to use the green light. by plane and requesting planes Most who are sending fly pland do not turn on green light

 

Many people keep sending requests for planes but consistantly do not turn on green light. If you want planes turn on the green beacon

 

yeah ik. What Skyrama should be doing as soon as a person is online the green light should turn on

 

great idea...cos half the time there is nothing to say the user is not there

 

how do you find the people sending you plane requests without searching through 400 budies

 

No no no we had this years ago, and if you were on just to get passengers People sent planes, its better this way.

 

I only turn my light green on when I want to request buddies send planes to me.

The problem is that I end up having about 50 % of the replies asking me to send them planes, and of those, its a large portion of buddies who have never sent me a plane before, and are not showing green.

I must have about 7,000 buddies on my computer. It takes up to 30 minutes to check the list to find the buddy requesting, and if not found, I add the buddy to the list. It takes time before it shows up!

So, if you want me to send planes, then please - go GREEN first. Otherwise I usually end up ignoring the request! I have lost a lot of planes whilst searching for a buddy request!

Without the buddy showing on my list, how else can I even send a flyby to him/her, so send planes first, then ask for planes. If new, the buddy will not show without me receiving anything first.

And for those who have me on their buddy list, it will be a lot quicker finding your buddy icon if you send me a flyby stating how many hearts are showing on my buddy icon!

Hope this makes it a lot quicker to find a contact.

Further to my previous posting, I will forward an idea of helping buddies with unknowns ( as we cannot sort the buddy list).

Why cant the Hearts value be shown on the fly-by's, so it cuts down the search time considerably. I will add this idea to the forum list.

Ideas added onto threads in "Speakers corner" can often get overlooked.

 

This is another issue but how do you find buddies that continually request planes but do not turn on green light . I have around 400 budies and it is not convient to search through 400 names

 

That's right. But with some knowledge about the approximate number of buddy points you have with this player, it is easy to restrict the area of your buddy list you have to search through .
I have 283 buddies and have no problems to find a special buddy.
Otherwise, you might have to clean up your buddy list a bit .

Why do people put their green light on, you send them planes then they dont service them, totally rude and unfair, also there are those who send you plane requests but dont put their light on which then you dont know where they are.
Another issue is if your gren light is on you get inundated with quickies.

 

Sometimes a plane times out before servicing finishes If servicing it would be nice if servicing plane should be a way to prevent time ou t Another problem might if the person you sent plane to was inundated with other planes or depending on the type sea planes for example the bays are full then your plane might not be there due to time out when the bay is available Just some ideas some people just do not care if thry are rude but others things like those mentioned above or life getting in the way like phone calls or something else distracted your buddy I myself have just had corneal transplant surgery and am on strict eye drop regime so unfortunately by the time I have washed hands then put in my dropps the buddy plane is not there any longer Just food for thought . i know if someone did not service my planes I think they probably missed my plane. Sorry if it was me that missed your planes.In one of the other places in the forum I did tell everyone I was sorry if I missed any of their planes I agree with others as far as green light and plane requests if everyone did a flyby and put in the number of hearts they could be found and request fufilled If green light is not on when planes are requested i usually ignore the request

 

Unfortunately they are not quicky planes so they have long enough to service if they so wish. I have no problem if they are unable to service them all, but it is the green light on request that is being abused. I will send planes out sometimes to buddies who's light is not on but then I dont expect them to service as I am not expecting them to be there.
I can assure you that I am not aware of you being on my buddy list, so your apology is unnecessary.
