How to clear your Cache.

    How do I empty the cache on my computer? A lot of problems with lag/ items mysteriously not showing up/ inventory display problems, etc. can be solved by clearing your internet cache. This deletes the old stored data, and allows the new data to be stored, which should solve the problem. and making sure that you are using the latest version of your perferred browser, Flash and Java.Flash Player homepage

    To clear your cache:

    Scroll up until you find:

    In the control panel Select:

    This will open up a screen that looks like this:

    Select:

    This will load a second screen that looks like:

    In order click each of the buttons. Please note each one will take a few moments to complete and you should be patient while it does this. You also DO NOT need to delete Form Data or Passwords unless you absolutly are sure that you do not want to keep any of these. Upon completion it is recommended that you restart your computer.

    It is always recommended that you restart your computer after clearing your cache

    MAC USERS

    In Microsoft Internet Explorer, click on the Edit menu, then select Preferences, followed by Web Browser, then Advanced.

    On Netscape Navigator/Communicator, click on the Edit menu, then select Preferences, followed by Advanced, then Cache.

    Empty the cache (for either browser) by clicking on the Empty button. You can also raise or lower the cache size (you can even set it to zero).

    If you use Safari, select Empty Cache on the Safari menu

    BROWSER

    On Firefox;
    Click on tools, then options
    Go to the advanced settings (right hand side of toolbar)
    Select the Network tab

    The 2nd item is Offline Storage
    It will say "Your cache is currently using xxMB of disk space"
    Click on the Clear now button to the right


    On Google Chrome;
    Click on the Spanner icon (top right corner)
    This will open a new tab called options
    Click on under the bonnet
    Top of the list is Privacy, click the Clear browsing data button
    This will open a pop-up menu, select what you want to clear - You need to make sure the empty the cache is checked (and you may want to uncheck the other settings, cookies etc)
    Click the Clear browsing data button
    You can now close the options tab
