The first player thinks of a word, phrase or sentence and the others try to guess it by suggesting letters. Guessed letters, which occur in the word, will be put by the first player in its correct positions. If a suggested letter does not occur in the word, the first player draws one element of a hanged man stick figure as a tally mark, beginning with the rope.
Or the first player counts from 1 to 7.

Any player may guess the whole word/phrase. If the guess is correct, the player wins and may start again with a new word/phrase. Otherwise, the first player may add an element to the hanged man stick figure or increase the number of faults by one.

If the seventh fault is reached, then the first player may begin with a new game.
To make the game easier, the first player may mention a corresponding categorie. That helps, if the word to guess is very short.
