  8. "forced", you're 12yo ??

easier to post condescendant reply than to actually do something or post a constructive reply to help the player base ;);)
you are the best customer a game can have and the worst player a community can have

you're not the only one like this, looks like this community got the game they deserve:D:D:rolleyes:

you probably wont guess why the player start to write nonsense o_O o_O

Unfortunately, yes... you’re forcing me to read the nonsense you keep posting here.
    Condescendant? o_O
Absolutely yes — and I have every right to be, because it’s thanks to me—and other players at my level of skill and wealth—that this game still exists and, despite significant hurdles and issues, continues to try and improve.
I’ve been playing here since almost the very beginning; there are very few players left from the "old guard."
    A substantive comment?
    You just replied to one.
Do yourself a favor and actually look through the forum—and don’t just skim the titles, the way young people today tend to do.
Read with comprehension, and only then should you pose constructive, non-judgmental questions to the developers and the forum Administration

Air Alliances/Federations/Teams for me. Something that is going to actually improve the game play. Since the Large planes introduction (10 years ago?) I can’t think of any game addition. Rising Cities used to do updates on YouTube and all sorts, so Bigpoint do have it in them but somewhere along the way, they got used to sending out an half-hearted update with a hint of mystery/intrique once a year, and thought it was sufficient. It’s not. Even though it wasn’t an option, I’d dearly like the developers to become a lot more open and transparent about the future, the challenges it’s currently undertaking, and for the team to stop treating the passionate player base like mushrooms!

  11. 100% agree with you, we don't ask for much, we just ask for some thought behind the update and information given.

but the more i discuss with the community the more this reality will never hapen. The remaining player are old player which most of them are disapointed but still "ok" with the state of the game. They wont do anything but argue with you. We are not close-knited at all...

  12. The "old guard" has been served with sh** for years, and once they serve you mudd once in a while to keep you paying, you think it's gold. Just like a cash cow, but you look proud of it.:rolleyes: (of course i don't put all the old player in the same basket)
Your "skill" is just for show since you can't see what's in front of your eyes:oops:

the fact that you still think they try and continues is hopeless (here is hint btw: we're the 15th of october and they still don't know when the halloween event will be live)o_O

looking through the forum just validate my point :D:D no information whatsoever from the team, always the same demand from the player and always the same s*** we receive. But ok, tell me, with the time given to them has they done an enormous work worth praising ?

i was waiting for your arguments with expectations but it is as empty as it should

you have the speech of an old generation which is not familiar with internet and video game. Or you are and you're just easily foolable :eek:

With respect both of you guys really argue as small kids on a sandpit, let's communicate with some decency.

Amount of cash spend on a game really isn't a good metric to judge how knowledgeable one is about the game or not, that's more of a gambling addiction, attacking the board moderators (FlightAttendant/-Controller-) is also pointless and stupid as from what we know they don't have much more info than we do, they can only message the team and spamming them over events is really quite useless as well.

The Halloween Event was also announced last year on 21st of October so they aren't really behind on the schedule. With the feature updates, we discussed this already like a year back, I believe that there are some people behind Skyrama but their goal is mainly to maintain the server side part of the game which primarily means the event config files and asset config files after the plane assets are uploaded and recently the new planes in the store (which was appreciated) not really new features which would require tinkering with the client source code. I personally don't really understand why they use the "buddy ping" and other bugs as a reason for not trying to bring newer features but I suppose that saying publicly that they simply don't have enough knowledgeable people to rewrite the client part of the code or enough people to verify that nothing else breaks. Huge factor is also the fact that Flash no longer even updates it's IDE and generally Flash development is just terrible & awful, can't blame anyone for not trying to do that from their own initiative, they are not the ones getting the $$ from aircash directly so why bother.

I already suggested once that there could be an attempt from Bigpoint to port Skyrama to PixiJS 8 or similar 2D rendering engine with the help of modern LLM (AI) models as it's actually not that big of a problem and the performance improves significantly. Although from a business perspective this is again challenging as you cannot just do whatever you want in a company and getting this approved as a project might again take some time or just get rejected completely.

The game as of itself is designed as a clicking simulator, and the currencies are incredibly inflated by people automating the game with macros / cheats, call it whatever you want. Even if a new mechanic would truly come, then there would have to be some actual new game directive to keep people playing and not just sticking to good old, oh yes let's spend money on All you can quick service for 24hrs, let the bot run and grind the currencies. Some people then argue that their save files (profiles) are too big to even play normally so we are back to the issue with poor Flash performance. So yeah it's a one big loop.

One feature that might potentially appear if someone on the current team figures out how it works is "Material Event", it was last used maybe in like 2017? (Pure guess, it was a long time ago), where you would collect multiple types of materials from specific planes and then buy high quality planes for those.

The only thing that I truly find disappointing is that the Skyrama Team doesn't want to (or isn't allowed to?) get involved directly here on the forum. I don't really understand this decision/move but it is what it is.

I think that it is fair to accept that the game won't ever receive any "significant" update and people have to decide if they still want to continue playing in the current state with some new event content or leave. I think it's the company's management decision not really about the devs or board moderators.

Thanks for your time and have a great day!
(No hate to anyone on the board, I really don't care anymore, I just want people to see stuff the way they really are.)

I wouldn’t want to lump you in with the crowd of loud complainers who have already faded into obscurity. It seems to me that you haven’t played much, or perhaps you simply haven’t realized that this game has struggled with various issues for years—outdated technology, problems with Flash, and, quite possibly, a lack of desire to implement major changes. I’ve been observing this for a long time—not with a sense of humble resignation, but with a certain level of understanding; I certainly don’t expect a light private aircraft to suddenly transform into an F-35 fighter jet.
I’ve been saying this for years: if you don’t like it—goodbye. Just don’t force others to read about your frustrations.
Suggestions have been put forward here many times, and repeating them won’t change a thing. Furthermore, spewing bile at other players or moderators is completely unacceptable.
    You’ve had your say—and that’s that.

"The "old guard" has been served with sh** for years" ....

As you can see, you’re well-versed in all things shitty... perhaps it’s best you don’t stick your head out any further.

  16. First of all are you president of the "old guard"? Why are you talking as if you are representing the community

Second of all, no one forced you to read anything. And as you have an opinion and a voice, so does everyone else and they are entitled to it.

You say that thanks to "you" paying money the game has been kept alive for years but guess what. Other people pay too and have higher standards. If you are ok with the product you are receiving for the money you are paying then excellent, why do you sound so petty? Everything is to your liking right?

Also, you can absolutely transform the code to a cleaner version that utilizes modern technology to make the game run better and make it easier to implement new ideas/events. Idk why you are framing it as if its impossible and thats simply how things are.

I am tired of watching a succession of "wise knights on white horses" who fancy themselves the saviors of the downtrodden SkyRama players.
I am not forbidding anyone from doing anything.
I am speaking only for myself.
I would be the first to offer my congratulations for substantive ideas that could actually be implemented.
Over the last dozen years or so, I have seen some very fine aircraft designs created by players, and I have appreciated them.
Now, all I see are people who complain but have nothing of value to offer.
Propose something that I can actually support.
Anyone can complain, but that doesn't mean they should do so in public.
I am not taking away anyone's right to express their opinion; I am simply asking that such opinions contribute something meaningful to the game.
